Part 4
“Looking for something, princess?” Ryo asks again; leaning against the door. Ueda freezes at the moment; unable to move. A few seconds later, Ryo’s words snap him back to reality.
“I presume…you are not supposed to hold that…” Ueda stands up before slowly turning around, facing Ryo, hugging the glass box tight in his arm. Ryo smirks while his feet walk toward Ueda. The older boy, aware of this, steps backward and backward while Ryo steps forward and forward.
Holy crap~! Ueda curses silently when he feels the side of the queen size bed behind his knees. Ryo is already in front of him while Ueda is trying not to show his panic reactions. There are just inches away.
“I don’t think you should hold this already, princess…” The kansai boy tries to move Ueda’s arms away from the glass box and takes it into his but apparently the latter is too stubborn. Ryo has to take the box a little bit rough, causing Ueda to lose his balance.
“YABAI~!” he grips whatever he can that time!
Kame shakes Jin a few times. Tch…
“OOI~!” he screams. Jin still doesn’t moves. Kame pouts. He turns around when he feels a pair of hands on his shoulders.
“Touch that…you know what I mean…” Kame grins. He leans forward and touches Jin’s collarbone.
“Aaaah~!” Kame and Yamapi laugh out loud. Jin ruffles his hair.
“What time is it?”
“Almost noon…” Jin’s eyes widen.
“Maji??…and our plan?? What happen??” Kame smirks.
“Well…it went well…if you weren’t drunk than you might saw it…”
Their eyes meet. Their breaths mingle. Their lips are just inches away. Ueda doesn’t feel easy at the situation. He tries to move but apparently he is caught between the bed and Ryo. He is actually worried about Ryo’s gaze. That gaze can kill me…
“Ano…is it possible for me to kiss you?” Ueda startles. He never asks permission to kiss me before… Ueda nods, hesitantly. Ryo leans forward, placing a gentle kiss onto Ueda’s lips. Ueda’s eyes widen. He gazes at Ryo’s closed eyes. He blinks. The sensation of the soft lips has already disappeared. Ryo is staring into the brown orbs.
“I thought you are kissing me on the forehead…like you always did…” Ueda bites his lips as he uttered. Baka me… Ryo looks shocked.
“I’m sorry…” he quickly kiss the forehead, long enough to make Ueda melts. Please stop the time…As he open his eyes, he meet with Ryo’s dark orbs. He takes a deep breath.
“Why…are you doing…this?” Ryo blinks.
“Hurm?” Ueda’s eyes narrow.
“Why are you doing this? Blackmailed me? Kidnapped Cyoko? Makes me pretend as if we are couple? Marked me in a photo shoot for god sake? Why???” Ryo is anxious. I guess the time has finally come, ne…
“You….really want to know?” Ueda tilts his head to the left, refused to face Ryo. But the real reason is he can’t afford to cry in front of him as he was already closed to tears just now. Ryo does notice this, and he can’t take it when he cries either.
“The truth is…I was blackmailed too...” Ueda quickly looks at Ryo back.
“You…gotta be kidding….” The younger boy shakes his head.
“Nope…I’m totally not…I’ll show you the proof…come on…” he stands up and reaches out his hand for Ueda.
Ueda browses through the papers in his hands. He still can’t believe his eyes at the moment. Kanji letters were cut (probably from newspapers) and paste on the papers, forming sentences that are irritating. I guess he really tell the truth.
“Who did this?” Ryo shrugs.
“I don’t know…maybe some crazy fan girls whom obsess about getting us together??” Ueda frowns.
“Please…no fan girls will do that…”
“Yaa right…and what should you say about doujin??” Ueda lost his words. He is kind of right…
“You never try to find out who did this?” Ryo shakes his head.
“Nope…I’m practically too busy to care about this. But hell…those…” he points towards the paper in Ueda’s hands.
“…flooded my mailbox from time to time…and irritates me…”
“And that’s the reason you blackmailed me using Cyoko?” Ueda questions, impatiently.
“Well…not really…” Ryo can’t finish his words as Ueda cuts off.
“And how in the first place that you have my Cyoko?”
“…let me finish my story anyway…they give it to me…that day, I came home late and I saw your teddy in front of my door, so I took her. The next day, I overheard you mumbling to yourself about some kind of teddy…so I guess it is yours…”
“…and you blackmailed me based on their instructions too?” Ryo grins.
“Nope…it’s my own intentions…” Zap! Something cut Ueda’s heart.
“…what?”
“I willingly do this cause…”
“What? You want to embarrass me? Makes my cry? Get back at me? Hell, I won’t let you!” Ueda stands on his feet, ready to get out of there. But, he doesn’t manage to move an inch as Ryo already grabs his wrist and pulls him until he fall across Ryo’s lap. Ueda shuts his eyes, single tear trails along his cheek. Ryo wipes the tear.
“Hey…I already told you to let me finish my story…” Ueda breaths heavily. What’s the point of hearing it till the end if it will break my heart…?
“…there is point…” says Ryo, as if he can hear what Ueda said in mind.
“…cause everything I do…is to make you mine…and that is because…I love you, princess…who ever or what ever did this…” he waves the paper in his hands before continuing. “....is genius. They help me realizes my feeling towards you…”
Thin smile forms on Ryo’s lips.
“…well…besides these…they send your pictures, magazines with you in it…your shop photos…everything about you…which makes me goes doki-doki every time I look at it…” Ueda blinks in disbelief. Did I hear confessions…? From him? I must be dreaming…Ueda feels his cheek hurts.
“Ouch~”
“See? You are not dreaming…and yes. I’ve confessed…” a pink shade tinted Ryo’s cheek. Ueda smirks in his heart.
“…the explanation is enough…thank you…now, please give me back my Cyoko?” Ryo sighs when he sees Ueda’s blank expression though he doesn’t know that the princess is smirking in his heart.
“Okay…” he takes out a key from his pocket and gives it to Ueda. Ueda takes it, delighted in joy.
“…Ichigo will be lonely after this…” Ryo mumbles and Ueda hears it.
“…Ichigo? You mean this?” he shows him a black teddy bear. Ryo’s eyes pop out.
Kame sips his coffee. Jin plays with his PSP while Yamapi looks something through his telescope. “Something happen over there…”
“Aw Pi~ Just relax…our plan will work out. They will definitely be together though they already are now…”
“Give him back to me…” Ryo reaches his hand out; practically telling Ueda to hand over the black teddy bear. Ueda however, sticks his tongue out.
“Well…no way…” the older boy smirks. “…unless…you do whatever I say…jya!”
Ryo is dumbfounded.
