CHARACTER INFORMATIONDeath Note
NAME: Misa Amane
RACE: Human
AGE: 20
CANON POINT: end of chapter 59
REFERENCES: Death Note Wiki
GENDER: Female and also mentally female
APPEARANCE: Misa makes her living as a model, as such she is very small and dangerously close to being underweight. As a model it's her duty to be as cute as she can possibly be from her round face to her small stature. She's normally dolled out in make up to make her look like just that-a doll. Her complexion rather pale with the assist from foundations made too light for her skin and her lips usually a ruby red to subtract more color. She is usually wearing make up but during the time she's not she actually looks pretty normal. Her nails are always manicured and her hair is dyed a bright blonde to appeal to her public as being a bit exotic. She has been seen with both brown and blue eyes but I think that's because it wouldn't be unheard of for a model, the blue are probably just colored contacts.

Her attire follows the goth Lolita fashion style very closely which helps add to the dolled up effect. Other than that she wears tight corsets, miniskirts, and high heels and seems to favor the color black. She has normal clothes too, but if she's appearing out in public she will dress the part.

PERSONALITY & HOUSE REQUESTS:

Misa is very a very brave girl in the sense she will do anything for Light. That said, I think the most suitable house for Misa Would be either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff since her loyalty to Light is blind.

She's can be a very charming girl as she does appear to the public and must meet their demands. It is vital that she know how to sell herself in a career such as hers and it helps if you know your manners and how to talk to people without offending them. To the public eye she's a very sweet girl and willing to do anything to please her fans, cheerily accepting pieces of paper to autograph and graciously accepting compliments about how cute she is and happily taking souvenir photos with said doting fans.

Misa is actually not so charming she just knows how to play it up. Actually, she's pushy, manipulative, a willing doormat for Light Yagami, and she's blinded by her love and obsession with him. She sacrificed three quarters of her life so she could be with him, likely feeling that it was justifiable since he was all she had left in the world. The first time she sacrificed half of her life was to meet the infamous serial killer, Kira. The second was because she failed to remember the name of someone important that Light wanted the name of.

In the series Misa states that she is loyal to her friends but that is only true if Light doesn't need them dead for some reason as evidenced by her willingly offering to kill a friend of her's in Osaka. Misa is loyal to Light first and foremost. She would never betray him but she does have a bit of trouble listening to him when his plans involve being separated for an extended period of time. She claims that her love for him is to great.

The reason Miss Amane is so hopelessly devoted and loyal to Light has to do with her parents. Dating a year before the series begins, Misa's parents are victims in a horrible robbery resulting in their deaths. Misa could testify that the man killed her parents but the trials continuously were put back up until the moment Kira, (a serial killer focused on ridding the world of criminals) happened to write the name of the robber in his magical note book and the man died. From that point on Misa was an avid Kira supporter. However, things were over yet for Misa and shortly after her modeling career really took off she managed to acquire a stalker. The stalker had decided he would kill her and then himself so that she could be with her parents again.

Someone was obviously watching over the girl at that point and the stalker, right before her eyes, died of a hear attack. It wasn't long after that she got ahold of one of those magical note books of her own and decided she'd use any means necessary to meet with Kira, including Murder.

Misa, I believe, was a very sweet girl up until Light's influence as Kira and she became desperate to meet him. Losing her parents in such a tragic way must have done some severe damage to the girl as it would anyone. Misa is not stupid-she's very good at playing the part but she has shown signs of intelligence, seeing as she never would have met Kira if she didn't have any kind of a brain in her head. It's probable that she is aware that what Light is doing is wrong, it's also probable that she knows he doesn't love her back. He's the man that killed her parents' murderer, after all, so it's not hard to see why she'd love and be loyal to him above all, happy to pretend he loves her back if he wants to play the part. Because she is so desperate and hung up on her love for him she gets insanely jealous, going as far as to threaten to kill any girl Light gets close too. She doesn't like the idea of someone moving in on the only thing she has left. She manages to keep her self from killing the other girls by reminding herself that she has 'the eyes' and he needs her. She is his tool, and in that she finds happiness.

COMMUTER DETAILS: Whatever side Light Yagami is on is the side she's on. So no device tapping for now.

POSITION: Student

ORIENTATION: Hopelessly devoted to Light Yagami. Straight.

ABILITIES & POWERS: Misa's only power is that she can see a person's name and lifespan but only if she can see their face. Also, due to how she goes about meeting Kira, I'd say she's tech-sevy. Not that it will do her much good at Hogwarts.

WAND: Mahogany with unicorn hair- swishy, seven inches

MISC.: Ordinarily, Misa speaks in the third person. She might do it here and there but seeing as they are not in Japan she won't do it as often.

WRITING SAMPLESFIRST PERSON:

[Misa is quick to figure out the commuter and has it switched to the video setting. It's early in the morning and she's brushing her lovely blond hair-clearly in some kind of rush as she speaks quickly]

Good morning Everyone! [she smiles brightly, obviously a morning person or really good at pretending that she is. She sets her brush off to the side and looks back at the camera a little sheepish] I know it's early and everyone is probably getting ready for breakfast but I have a real quick, tiny favor to ask. [She holds up her fingers to indicate how small]

It seems I dozed off in history the other day, so I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to let me borrow theirs?

And, thank you so much~♥

[a quick glance to the clock and-] Ah! I have to get going but I'll meet you over in the great hall! Thanks again and see you at breakfast! [She cuts the feed as she she's getting her sock on and there's a soft thud just before it cuts entirely.]

THIRD PERSON:

"Hmm…" Misa frowned at the text in her book as she tried to makes sense of the strange slanted patterns. She turned it to a ninety-degree angle in hopes that it would shed some light on the subject but found it to be even more of an eyesore. She'd only taken ancient runes because she had thought it'd be something Light would be interested in and he could maybe help her if it got too complicated. She reached into her bag and fished out her copy of translations to look over symbols once again. Misa was a smart girl, she knew that if she continued to rely on her cheat sheet she'd never get the hang of this, but she also recognized that sometimes she'd have to take another look.

Once she'd looked over everything once more she stuffed the parchment back in her bag and turned back to the passage in the the book she was supposed to be translating. She felt her elation threatening to overflow as she was able to start making sense of some of the symbols. Light would be so proud of her! Misa felt her lips twitching into a smile as she turned to copy the sentence onto the bit of parchment needed for the assignment.

The more she translated the faster she got, feeling nearly invincible as those Runes didn't stand a chance against her rapidly improving translation skills. She hit a snag in her work and frowned again, willing herself not to look at the cheat sheet. She could do this. She knew that symbol. Her eyes closed to help her focus as she racked her brain trying to remember it's meaning. At last her memory sparked and she was able to write down the next sentence and continue on with her homework, feeling quite pleased she hadn't had to turn to her list that last time around.
