A pleasant surprise...
Well...depending on the deal that the guy leaving can get from his landlord...and pending a possible third roommate...and despite whatever wisdom suggests that I should escape living with my current roommate while I have the opportunity...I must say that I am actually very excited about the prospect of living in this new place.
The charm of the dog and the kids (the dog was especially charming) - who of course won't be staying - probably went a long way to sway me, but it's also much more space. It would be less of a commute, and the neighborhood is nice. We'd lose the great balcony and the Hollywood Bowl overlook, but we would have a great view of the Hollywood sign and two respectable yards. I can't believe I'm excited about this. This day just turned interesting.
