Yuletide Letter
Dear Yuletide Writer:
First of all, thank so much for signing up to write any of my fandoms! I am so excited for Yultide. It is one of my favorite things of the year. I have tried to give a lot of prompts and information but go with what you want to write. If you aren't inspired by what I suggest, as the rules go, optional details are optional, and if the story of your heart goes a different way, write it.
While I do list for pairings I like for some fandoms, I would be just as happy with gen, so go where the muse takes you. My general likes and dislikes are below and I've added some notes to each fandom.
Things I like in fic (not necessarily all together): lightness, humor, wistfulness, silliness, things that are reflective, fun, wacky hijinks, and getting into (and out of) trouble.
Things I do not really like in fic: violence, animal harm, in story character death (things that deal with canon character death is okay), lots of darkness (a little is okay), non-con, and character bashing.
Gavin and Stacey

Yuletide Prompt:
I would love a fic about the first time Gavin and Stacey met on the phone and how their relationship went from being people who talked at work to being the couple who met in the pilot. Something that fills in their background. Or Gavin and Stacey each telling their friends and family about this person they met on the phone and trying to explain how they just know it's right.
Or if you want to write something from during the show, how about a story set between when they got married and when they moved to Wales. I loved them living in Pam and Mick's house and just dealing with being married and still living at home.
Or something after the show - either during the pregnancy or after the baby is born - dealing with each other, their families, and a new baby!
I love everyone in the G&S world - Pam & Mitch, Dawn & Pete, Nessa, Smithy, the Essex Boys, Dave, Baby Neil, Brynn, Gwen, etc. so feel free to use anyone you need if it works with where your muse takes you.
Please nothing rated higher than R.

Love. This. Show. I marathoned it last year and I am just so happy I found it. I went looking for fic and I couldn't find much, so I figured Yuletide would be a good time to ask! I just couldn't get enough of it. I wish there as more. I will really be happy with anything in this verse. I love the silly wacky nature of the show and how everything is so dramatic and fun, but interspersed with seriousness.
Faking It (2014)

Prompts:
I requested Karma, Amy, Shane, and Liam but if you get inspired and one doesn't fit in the story or you can't put them all in, that's fine.
For prompts: something with Karma and Amy pre the pilot - maybe Karma trying to get Liam's attention or one or both of them interacting with Shane. Or just a fun friendship fic between them.
I love Karma's parents and Amy's mom so feel free to throw them in there if it works. Same with Lauren, I didn't request her specifically, but if she needs to make an appearance or fits the story - totally cool.
I really like how the show depicts Shane and Liam's friendship - the good and the bad. Maybe a fic with some of their clubbing shenanigans or getting into a sticky situation with prospective love interests and having to use their wits and some fast thinking to get out.
Shane and Amy's friendship is also great. His reactions to things she says or does. I would love to see Shane take Amy clubbing with him or just the two of them spending an afternoon at a mall.
I am also a sucker for road trip fic. Putting the four of them into the car together could have some interesting outcomes.
Additional Notes:
I love Shane - he never fails to make me laugh. How the show makes me laugh is actually one of my favorite things about it. It can tackle serious issues but then make you just crack up. The fact that shane's mom sells sex toys out of her trunk is one of my favorite little canon tidbits. Use anyone from the show you need to make the story work.
Also I think Amy and Liam have an interesting dynamic that could always use exploring if that strikes your fancy.
If you are familiar with Happy Land and want the whole crew to go to the park that could be very fun. And if you have no idea what Happy Land is, then just ignore this sentence. :-)
Continuum (2014)

Prompts:
I loved the addition of Brad this past season and I am very fond of him and Kiera as partners, romantically and otherwise. I just really like how badass they were together.
Fic of the two of them being badass, or up at the cabin, or just generally trying to save the future would be great.
Honestly, I will take anything with these two - gen, ship, whatever.
Additional Notes: I know this isn't as long as my other prompts, but that doesn't mean I don't want fic equally from this fandom. I just honestly would love a Brad and Kiera fic. Last season was very hit or miss for me and the only thing I really liked was the addition of Brad. I did not care for the Alex plot line at all. If you need to include others in the fic to make it work - go for it. I said above in the general do not likes that I don't like darkness - this is the exception. This show can be dark and angsty and twisty so if that is where your muse takes you - go for it. Just no excessive violence or death. I also tend to be a PG-13 kind of girl, but if you have a great idea that is R rated, if it's Brad and Kiera let it rip.

Taylor and Max - these two just make me smile, so if you want to write a story about the two of them out on a date or having a family dinner - go for it!
I also love Taylor, Grant, and Carter's family relationship. I would love a story where the three of them are just hanging out and bonding and getting to know each other. Hiding from their parents childish antics, or just learning how to be a family.
Grant and Max also have a great relationship. I would love to see Max helping Grant deal with his crazy family.
Or if you want to write something about Max and Carter pre the pilot. I would love a story about the two of them running around causing trouble, being teenagers, and just having fun.
If you want to write all four of them playing video games, watching movies, eating popcorn, dealing with the parents, adjusting to Carter being back. Or Carter getting into a mess and Taylor, Max, and Grant bailing her out
I like all of the characters in the show, so please include anyone you need to make the story work.
Additional Notes: I got hooked on this show this summer, and because I was watching this show I saw a marathon of Faking It and because I was watching Faking It, I ended up watching Happy Land, and now I watch more MTV than I have since college. Carter's friends can always be fun props for a story if you want to throw them in. I also think David is a bit of a putz and just handles things really poorly and Elizabeth should have left him forever ago, but if you need them for the story, feel free to throw them in there.

Aram is one of my favorite characters on the show. I pretty much love every scene he is in and I loved him and Liz when the post office was under siege. I would love a fic with the two of them out on a mission, just being awesome together. I could also totally see Aram setting up and helping Liz deal with the fallout from Tom.
If you want to go the ship or friends with benefits route with these two, go for it, but gen is also fine. I like all of the characters so include whoever. The only thing I would prefer is no Red/Liz ship.
Additional Notes: I was torn between requesting Kessler or Aram because I love how they both interact with Liz. So use Kessler as little or as much as you want.
I am seriously good for anything with these two. Please no graphic violence but if you have to go a little dark and twisty go for it. I can't really see anyone on this show having a normal, well adjusted, relationship, so I would think anything with these two would be messed up in some way. I also like the idea of hte two of them in a secret relationship or pretending to be together for a mission.
