Things I currently love:
(1) Psych! It's back and Shawn and Gus are more hilarious than ever! And Lassie and Juliet! Last week's episode was pretty fantastic.
(2) Haven! I haven't seen any reviews for this show but it has me hooked. I hope others like it and are watching.
(3) Young Avengers! I picked up the first few trades, plus Civil War, and now I'm reading the Children's Crusade in issues. Wiccan and Hulkling! I love them! They are officially one of my favorite comic ships. When Wiccan accidentally came out to his parents when he meant to try and tell them he was a super hero SO AWESOME. And they were so cool about it!
(4) Warehouse 13 - Mrs. Frederick! I love the role she's been playing this season and so far all of the episodes have been pretty solid.
(5) Eureka - I'm really loving the twists and turns this season. Though, I do wish the thing with Carter and Tess would have worked out differently. I get where they wanted to set it up in the plot, I just really liked Carter and Tess when they were working, and we didn't see enough of them not working to convince me otherwise. Also, wow do I hate Baltar's American Accent
(6) Jessica Jones. I picked up the whole trade set of Pulse for $6 so now I really need to get Alias. I LOVE HER. I love her and Luke! I liked her as a side character in the New Avengers and Young Avengers and she is just fantastic in her own series. I love that she is an Avenger now.
(7) Various solitaire related games. I have become addicted. I got an app for my ipad with like 10 different games all with different variations. Spider Solitaire, Spidertte, Yukon, Alternations, Tri Peaks, Freecell, Golf, and MANY MORE. It's so addicting!
(8) Mad Men. I am so excited for the season opener tonight. I have been reading the Mad Style posts over at Project Rungay and OMG I am just so excited for Don and Peggy and everyone to come back into my life! If you haven't read the series, I highly recommend it.
(9) Squishable Bat - I took him to work on Thursday and have been working on taking pitcures of his everywhere so I can make a book for my niece.

Making copies! (which, seriously, I still think of that Rob Schneider character from SNL when I hear the phrase making copies.)

(10) Cooking! I ended up hosting a party on Friday night for co workers and I did the catering myself. It turned out really well. I also made the most awesome Mexican Stylish Pizza tonight!
Cupcakes! My favorite Devil's food, which a light vanilla frosting.
My finger foods! I did Ham and Cheese Sliders, Turkey and Cheese Sliders, Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Spicy Mac & Cheese, Cupcakes, Rice Krispy Treats, and a tower of Hostess treats! (my theme was American Comfort Food). I was so happy with how this all turned out. I was at another party on Thursday, so I really only had Wed Night (and I didn't get home from work until 8pm) and Friday afternoon to prepare.
Close up of the sandwiches. I made a butter/mustard/poppy sauce for the top. The insides had either mustard or mayo and either Turkey or Ham with swiss.
I was really happy with how these turned out. Someone asked if they were professional!
My totally made up Mexican Style Pizza! I made a nice white pizza crust, and then I topped it with Refried Beans (mixed with a little cheese and taco sauce), Chicken, Tomato, Red Onion, Cheddar, Monterrey Jack, and Mozzarella. It was very nom!
With a little green onion, taco sauce, and sour cream!
Chicken Parm from last weekend. So good!
