Chicken, Pototoes, Cookies, and Sam!
Today was a good Saturday - we ran errands (we had to wait in the checkout line for THIRTY minutes because the store was totally unprepared for the amount of people trying to shop before the storm hit), I read two books, make stuffed chicken, au gratin potatoes, and chocolate crinkle cookies, watched the first episode of Primeval (not bad!) and watched two episodes of Bablyon Five.
Tomorrow? I am (hopefully) making muffins, eclairs (from scratch) and carrot cake cup cakes! I cannot wait! :-)
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies - I got the Williams Sonoma Essentials of Baking and made these tonight - SO fantastic!
Utterly disappointing cheddar au gratin potatoes and Breaded Chicken Breast stuffed with Jarlsberg Cheese. That was NOM. The potatoes? NOT SO MUCH. I used 1% instead of 2% milk, and I think that messed it up. But aside from being watery, they had NO flavor.
