What is your favorite thing about fandom?

The support from people I barely know, folks I've met once ::waves:: or never met at all. The way that we've become part of each other's lives.

Second is probably the fact that fandom contains an expert on absolutely *everything* no matter how obscure. If I need to know about music or gender theory or trains or guns or whatever, I can find that info somewhere here.

Now, for the reverse - what is the worst thing about fandom?

The worst thing about fandom is the wank. I hate the kneejerk reaction to things and the way people start wanking over the stupidest things. ::sigh:: It makes me depressed.

Oh man, there are *so* many possibilities. I could seriously pick a couple dozen off the top of my head, so I'll just go for Wonder Woman.

I would love to be strong and smart and full of purpose like Diana. She is...resolute, which is pretty much the opposite of me :)
