SM IS IN THE TOWN!
I need to write everything I can recall from last night before I forget it. you know I have problem with my memory, LOL.
during and after the concert, I really really really had soooo many things to share and write. but now, the morning after, when I finally sit here in front of my laptop, I don't know what to write first.
maybe I shall show you the ... ammunition I carried and worn to the concert :D
I went to the concert with ipeh and chi. and after a long boring morning at the campus (I have to attend a course every saturday morning) we had lunch at plaza semanggi and arrived at GBK at 2PM.
at first I had this plan to make a video blog about SMTown jakarta, like some kind of live report from the venue, but turned out it wasn't easy at all. it was really really packed and crowded and I had difficulties to keep my things on check, so I only managed to make one super short video of our arrival at the main entrance of GBK ... which I'm not going to share it here, LMAO. *evil laugh*
I'm sorry guys, me is no pretty at all and my cheeks are like super chubby. >///<
Click to viewlots of people, I repeat, LOTS OF PEOPLE, were already queueing before the entrance to the stadium. it was waaay more crowded than SS4. I knew it would be, since this might be the biggest concert in 2012 and all, but I'm still unprepared for it. when the gate finally opened, I got squashed by everyone around me and oh God I don't want to remember it anymore. and when I got in to the venue, it was also super packed and at that time I was close to regret my decision to bought the festival (standing) ticket instead of the seating one. but the seats were pretty far away from the stage anyway, so it was dilemmatic. oh and I forgot to mention which section I was in. I got festival C section, you can see the seating map here.
and when the concert started with f(x)'s hot summer ... I didn't get the excitement at all because I swear I was going to die because of the chaotic riot around me. no kidding, no exaggerating. the fanboys were crazy. my very first advice if you are going to watch any kpop concert is put safety and convenience first. you don't have to be super close to the stage if in the end you'll get smashed like potato. you can still watch the concert comfortably at the back row, trust me. it was pure hell during hot summer performance thus I finally decided to move to the back row with ipeh and it was the best decision we've made last night. we could dance and run freely at the back row and the rest of the concert was waaay more fun that way.
I want to show you something. take a look at this video I took during kangta's solo performance.
look at that colorful ocean. beautiful, isn't it? it was dominated by blue lightsticks actually, but it didn't make it less beautiful. OMG, again, I felt sooo overwhelmed, surrounding and becoming the part of such a beautiful ocean. it was more beautiful when you see it live actually, not through my crappy video, LOL.
I recorded some fancam videos but none of them are good, LOL. I didn't bring my dad's digicam, instead I brought my small old crappy digicam. but most importantly, I didn't watch the concert for the sake of recording good videos or taking pictures. I watched the concert for fun and recorded video or took picture just for personal purpose, so I'm sorry if the videos doesn't match your expectations :)
I freaked out the moment SNSD appeared on the stage. I couldn't even stop screaming seohyun's name during her part. OMG, all of them were sooo flawless! askdhgsdskslfdgaks ecstatic fangirl was ecstatic!
one of the best moment was during SNSD's introduction. guess who was the one who shouted "halo, kami SNSD!" in bahasa indonesia? yep, it was none other than my cute perfect flawless seobaby. she also said "mari kita bermain bersama!" which means "let's play together!" asdgdhsjdksgashdkla I love you sweetie ♥
and then the whole stadium sang happy birthday to hyoyeon. the girls noticed it and then we sang happy birthday together. God, me and ipeh cried, what a beautiful moment. hyoyeon looked so touched and some sources even said that she cried later in backstage. aigooo I'm so proud at myself and the other indonesian sones. T^T
after that they performed my most favorite SNSD's song of all time, tell me your wish. if there was one thing I had been waiting the most from SMTown Jakarta, was to hear with my own ear tiffany shouting "INDONESIA, PUT IT BACK ON!" and again, it made me cry happy tears, literally. even re-watching the fancam video is still able to make me cry. T^T
and finally ... OUR HANDSOME SUPERMEN.
honestly their epic superman stage performance was still as awesome as ever, but it didn't really make me go crazy or cry like it did on SS4 indonesia. maybe because I've seen it before last april. but yeah it was still breathtaking nonetheless :)
I got the chance to record kyuhyun during bonamana performance! he was pretty close from where I was standing. errr to be precise I ran to the other side of festival C to approach him as close as I could, LOL.
I was sitting tiredly on the ground but when twinkle's intro music came I instantly jumped up and screamed loudly. AKSLDKSHAGSJDKLS FINALLY I GOT TO SEE THEM PERFORMING TWINKLE RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES! I went crazy when taeyeon and seohyun hit their high notes, they were too perfect and flawless and talented! T^T
btw too bad I didn't record DJ got us falling in love again, I was too busy dancing like a crazy lady, LOL. so I can't show you that short epic moment when seobaby's shades slipped from her eyes. sooo dork!
SUPER JUNIOR'S INTRODUCTION WAS ANOTHER THING I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR. and of course, kyuhyun had his cute accent and leeteuk was the loudest. he even shouted "assalamu'alaikum!" LOL, I almost dropped my jaw :))
also LOL at yesung who kept clinging to every member who was talking so that he could always appear in the screen. I saw what you did there, kim jongwoon.
after the introduction, super junior M performed perfection and ... A-CHA! God, I love the song and performance so freaking much. and I think a-cha was the best super junior performance last night, biased or not.
btw I don't know if it's just me or not, but I think SHINee got the biggest number of performances during the whole concert. like they appeared pretty much often ... yet I didn't record their performances at all, LOL fail me :)) seriously guys, I have no single SHINee fancam video and I swear I didn't do it on purpose. I love SHINee, I swear I do, but I have no idea why there is no video of them in my camera, sorry sorry sorry sorry.
and speaking of SHINee, it was kind of disappointing that minho wasn't coming :( he is too busy with his to the beautiful you filming schedules, so is sulli. aaww too bad, I really wanted to see them.
I think the best fancam videos I took last night is either TVXQ's mirotic and/or keep your head down. I don't know, I guess I was just too tired to dance or scream or anything so I just stood there and record calmly. but then I went hyper again on the next performance, LOL.
WHEN BOA CAME OUT WITH HURRICANE VENUS ... OH MY GOD. have I ever told you that she was actually the main reason why I decided to go to SMTown concert? I've been adoring her since junior high school and I always thought that her live performance would be very amazing.
and it really was.
OH MY GOD SHE WAS REALLY COOL AND AWESOME! she performed hurricane venus, a song from her new album but I forgot what the title is, the shadow, and only one. me and ipeh really hoped that the dance partner would be eunhyuk, but sadly it was taemin :(
like I mentioned before, I was in festival C section. but the truth is, I just noticed it in the middle of the concert, that actually we could run freely at the back row to the other festival section, LOL. so during dancing out performance, I ran to the left stage to approach kyuhyun as close as I could, and here's the result! again, sorry for the shaky video, you can tell that I was too excited! finally I got to see kyuhyun in such a close distance, even more close than when I was in SS4!
speaking of kyuhyun, when I ran after him and managed to get the fancam video, I was thinking about the seokyu banner I carried in my bag. when he finally out of the stage, I thought, "did I just miss another opportunity to show my seokyu banner to him just like I missed so many opportunities in SS4?" :(
I was that close to give up when the opportunity unexpectedly came at the ending part. me and ipeh was about to leave the venue - we were actually planning to leave the venue before the concert ends to avoid the crowd - when suddenly we saw kyuhyun and taemin (or luhan or someone from EXO, I didn't really notice him since I had my eyes full on kyuhyun) ran at our direction. well, not exactly at our direction, but we were standing next to the left stage and he was heading to the same direction as us. I was stunned while ipeh quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me. she ran before me and raised her seokyu banner while I was still busy taking my banner from my bag.
and a moment later, I found myself and ipeh standing right before the stage - pretty close with kyuhyun - raising our seokyu banners at him and shouting out loud. I don't think he saw us nor our banners, but according to ipeh who arrived there before me, he saw her banner before I joined her. OMG, please let it be true and he really did see the seokyu banner ipeh was holding! *praying hard*
btw there was this moment during kissing you performance when the girls were riding the I-don't-know-how-to-call-it, you know the moving vehicle slash super small stage slash carriage. me and ipeh ran away towards the vehicle and we were like standing right under it, the girls were so freaking close and I could see how flawless yoona was and SUDDENLY SUNNY SMILED AND WAVED AT ME ASKDLSKAJSHDJSKALSHD.
maybe she noticed that I was waving my pink lightstick excitedly and she waved back at me. aaaww what a cutie :)
we left the venue with a super tired body, my voice was gone, my feet and back hurts, BUT WE WERE HAPPY AND OVERWHELMED. gosh, attending SMTown concert has been my dream since forever and finally it happened! no seokyu duet stage, unfortunately, but I still feel thankful for the opportunity to attend it :)
some people asked me "which one is better? SS4 or SMTown concert?" and I really don't know what should I say.
SS4 is the first kpop concert I attend, therefore I felt more touched and overwhelmed, not to mention I was standing really close to the stage and I could see how flawless the boys were.
but SMTown concert is also special and precious :) it was more tiring, hectic, crowded than SS4 but I still had a lot of fun! it was an unforgettable night indeed.
anyway I'll upload more fancam videos later to my youtube playlist later, but I really have to go now. and btw this blog post is unedited, harap maklum :P
