It was very uneventful -- I didn't feel much like celebrating -- but it was pretty good. I just hung out at home with my family and watched Dick Clark. :) How about yours?
You are quite possibly the funnest/funniest person on the planet. I read all the BSC books a million years ago, but don't remember any of them that well. I really liked Mary-Anne, and I think I remember being incredibly sad when Claudia's grandmother died (could that be right?). I learned from one of the Claudia books that you should never put meat back in the refrigerator after it's been thawed.
So, do you have a Sweet Valley High meme in your bag of tricks?

Thanks! I'm taking that as a compliment, and not as an indication of how utterly pathetic (and just plain weird) I can be. :)
I remember when Claudia's grandmother died, too. I think first she had a stroke, and then later on in the series she passed away. I don't know if I actually read that particular book, though, because I thought it'd be too sad.
I never really got into the Sweet Valley High series, though I have no idea why. It's certainly right up my alley. :) I've seen a few episodes of the TV show, though -- does that count? :)
I never saw the Sweet Valley High tv show. My second year of university, my roommate and I decided that we'd been hinding in front of the TV instead of trying to make real lives for ourselves. I ended up with a broken heart and a lot of missed TV. (I regret the missed shows, I'm sure the heartbreak was character-building. Character, by the way, sucks. Really.)
Ha!!! Yeah, so I loved The Babysitter's Club, but can't remember anything because I've not read anything in about 13 years.
I do remember that Claudia was my favorite and Dawn was my second favorite. I liked Mary Anne and Logan the best.
The only book I remember the title of was Jessie and the Superbrat...and remember the book about the triplets...but I can't remember what it was called. I loved Shea, the little accident prone redhead...and my favorite Super Special was the ski vacation one.
Haha...this was fun! BSC rocked my socks when I was a kid. I remember when the first one came out. I think "Super Brat" was like, #17. Now there's like 200. I'm old. Weeeeeeeeeeee!
They broke up in Mary Anne Versus Logan (I think that was the title), but they got back together later on in the series. I agree, they were awfully cute.
