The first season of Boston Public? Was outstanding. Seriously. If you can get past the fact that it was extremely unrealistic, I highly recommend it. Top notch acting, engaging characters -- you just get hooked. (Reruns started this week on WE in the evenings.)

I watched the season premiere of Less Than Perfect last week. It was the first time I'd seen it in quite some time, and I have to say, it was hilarious. As in, every scene kept me laughing out loud. I don't really know why I stopped watching in the first place (most likely it had something to do with its time slot), but I'm going to try and add it to my regular television viewing schedule.

Joan of Arcadia's premiere was solid. Not my all-time favorite, but a lot happened, and it definitely kept my interest the entire time, so all in all I was very pleased. Plus, I'm beginning to become more of an Adam/Jane fan (Luke/Grace started stealing their thunder, at least for me, by the end of last season), so yay for that!

Just a comment about couples on JoA -- this show falls into a rather strange category for me, because it's one of the few that I watch primarily for the show itself, not for a certain 'ship or 'ships. As much as I like, say, Luke and Grace, ultimately I want the show to continue being the thought-provoking, compelling, high quality series it was last season. (On the other hand, the number one reason I'll be watching The O.C. this year is Sandy/Kirsten, baby. Not that I don't enjoy other aspects of the show; it's just that I put my couple first. ;))

8 Simple Rules was fantastic last week. Several huge laughs, and I love those characters so much that it makes me happy simply watching them interact.

I have more to say but not enough time, so I'll shut up for now. I hope everyone has a good weekend!
