Summary: Alfred watches over his 13 children and thinks about their parentage, and that Arthur isn't all of their father like he thinks he is.
Alfred looked over his sleeping children with a smile.
It had been exactly one year since he had gain independence from England and they were all celebrating. The children had all gathered into one place close to the fireplace to feel its warmth and immediately fallen asleep on top of the blankets he had placed there.
The children had the appearance of being around the ages of 5-9 depending on who they were.
And Arthur thought they were all his.
Alfred chuckled to himself quietly as he picked up the mess the kids had made.
Yes while their daughter Virginia, who was physically the eldest being born first, was his the next two being twins, his daughter New York and son New Jersey, were the children of the Netherlands.
It was obvious too, Arthur just choose not to believe it and delude himself. New Jersey looked exactly like Netherlands, except a bit more happier, and New York while she looked like him there were some attributions from Netherlands as well.
Pennsylvania had been the next child born and it couldn’t have been more obvious that Arthur wasn’t her father. Unless he secretly has red eyes and has a laugh that went “Kesesesesesesese.”
Delaware was by accident he swore. That night had been a drunken mistake and that was one of the few times he was grateful that Arthur was blind to the fact that this son wasn’t his. Even if he looked a lot like Sweden and not himself.
Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Virginia, and Rhode Island were all his however.
While they took the physical characteristics from both of their parents only Virginia and Rhode Island looked exactly like him. Virginia however being a female version of him. The both of them grew their hair longer than Arthur and went through deep measurements to contain the eyebrows that they had inherited, like the other children who had also inherited the eyebrows.
Alfred stretched before going to where he kept the blankets and covering his children with them.
After he had won his independence from Arthur he had gathered all his children from his house and took them away. Ignoring both Arthur and Matthew.
He had to thank the Founding Fathers for all their help in raising the kids, although they all agreed that none of the children should be left with Ben to be taught some lessons of the world.
Alfred smiled once more before laying beside his children on one side. He closed his eyes and soon joined them in the world of slumber.
