On Saturday night I hoofed it up to Livingston to meet up with Mattie. We had sushi in Montclair, chatted, got chai and cocoa and pastry goods. Fun thing is Saturday was when it was announced, even by Fox News, that Joe Biden was the President Elect of the 2020 election. Tons of people were on streetcorners cheering, many motorists were beeping their horns in celebration and solidarity. Also the cops were out in force, pulling folks over willy-nilly and being a presence out of their feelings of butthurt that Senpai 45 is out of a job.
Afterwards we drove around, milking our time together, grumbling about COVID-19, marijuana, having no place to watch Parasite nor The Winter Soldier together, and just talked and enjoyed each others company.
