I am hoping, sometime next week, to hear what kind of month the company had in terms of revenue.
Especially to see if the vice president hands out cash to the billing department, because I'm totally going to use half of that to start my new site.
For those who know Esperanto, it's the English word for maraĵo. The translation isn't even a common word but I don't want to give up the word and then someone jumps on it and then I start wondering if the term is some cryptomnesiac nonsense like heptapod.
I maintain I thought of heptapod independently before I even knew of Ted Chiang. Back when I thought I coined it, I was reading a ton of science fiction.
A ton.
Because having nowhere to go, hanging out in libraries, the only thing I'd deign to read was SF.
