The world had considerably fewer people, but they were those I know in waking life.

Part one took place in a basement where I found Roman ruins in the New World. Of interest was the spiked ball and chain spinning since time immemorial to guard an area below this room. An acquaintance's wife (RH) was excited about the discovery but she refused to look behind her. If she realized this site was nearby and accessible (in a high school basement) it would've been embarassing for her. Behind her was a small staircase leading to a springtime night.

I think this was a second dream, or my brain was re-using sets out of laziness. Same underground area. Little traps everywhere. I had to set off a switch with a personal grenade launcher to reveal a weapon that shoots sharp, red stars. Tucked in the box was an antidote.

For what? I dunno, but it was important.

Made my way through hospital corridors full of zombies. Fresh zombies with some pink in their complexion. I didn't have to shoot. Helped an old couple then found my way into a room holding Amelia Earhart. She was happy to see anyone, but kept interrupting me when I brought up the antidote.

There was banging at the door. A cute, semi-topless zombie was menacingly grimacing through the peep hole which freaked me. The door shook as the old couple pounded to get in. I opened the door, they expressed "Serves you right!" and helped the zombies in.

They were all female zombies. They reassured me, "It's only dying" but I said I've never been dead before and don't want to die.

Then I woke.
