scrivener's screwy saturday sunrise (extended dance remix / dubstep)
Wife and I were going to Cape May today for a whale watch tour, visit Sunset Beach, among other diversions. I contacted the owner of The Anomalist for weekend links on Friday afternoon, so my Saturday morning could be spent getting my shit together and just posting on the site.
Friday's forecast for Saturday was thunderstorms! So the missus insisted we stay at home since the weather would be crappy, but we'd go on Sunday which is almost guaranteed to be Colorado sunny.
Woke up, the sky was hazy and I figured the rain would come later in the afternoon. Whatever.
Parked my ass to tweet out Anomalist-style links. Found myself on LiveJournal writing up a dream before posting links on my astronomy club's message board.
Wound up writing an outline for a think piece regarding the possibility of life in the outer solar system.
Rather than spending my morning contributing to The Anomalist, I was writing for myself and it feels good.
My wife's awake now and she finds it funny the forecast for rain has dramatically changed. Saturday will be loverly, and so should Sunday.
