I SAW PRINCE CASPIAN, SRSLY!
SPOILER WARNING
Okay, it was incredible! First: the cinematography was spectacular this time. It was pretty straight forward with LWW, but the fight scene with Peter and Miraz, it was like all in their faces and stuff and just way cool. (Yeah screw grammar and eloquence. I am forgoing it) And the battle scene in Telmar Castle! WHOA! That was so hardcore. Peter was magnificent, as always, and Susan totally went Xena Warrior Princess on their asses! And Edmund with the flashlight, quick thinking! It was great.The kids acting has gotten so much better. IMO, Skandar did the best in LWW. But this time, Will was on top, with Skandar following closely. When they had to retreat from the castle raid, you could see raw pain in Peter's eyes and it broke my heart. I cried.
Ahaha, Lucy is so cute. WHen she ran to Aslan, I was all "Awww!" and when she pulls her dagger out on the bridge with that menacing look on her face! I wouldn't run towards her. I can't believe Sopespian did with Aslan right there. OH GOSH, the River God was extremely cool! My little sister was all "Is he gonna eat him?" and he did! It was brilliant!
I do wish there had been more of Edmund though. I think that was the one thing that could have made the movie better.
The witch! Ah, Tilda is amazing. I can't believe Peter actually began to listen to her. Susan, you were right to be dissappointed in those two young men. Shame on you, Peter and Caspian. Edmund killing the werewolf was so awesome! I thought Susan killed the witch, but I guess it was Ed, and I can totally understand why he did it. "I know, you had it sorted" I felt so bad for him right there, seeing Peter succumb to Jadis like that. Skandar had some of the coolest fight sequences in the movie, followed by Susan. She just kicks ass so much! I sound like a lame surfer from Cali. Kill me now.
Despite previous belief, I liked Ben. He was funny, and he can hold so much emotion in his eyes, you forget the accent. I really did like him, when I was not at all sure of him in the beginning. Trust me, fellow doubters, he grows on you. Plus, he's rather easy on the eyes. (;
Will's still gorgeous-er though. He will always be number 1 in my heart eyes. His jawline is like crazy gorgeous and I just wanna run my fingers across it. *points to icon* I know. I usually don't talk like this but I'm in a state of crazy fangirling. I swear, I could listen to Will talk all day. His voice is like a mixture or rough and soft. It's a sad voice, I think. He sounds sad.
Skandar has quickly become beautiful. His eyes are just, wow, so pretty. And his voice is pretty too. The whole cast is amazingly gorgeous, though. They make me feel inadquate.
The music was great too. It has a lot of elements from LWW, but that's the theme music and it fit perfectly. Harry-Gregson Williams is pure genius. I was looking everywhere for the soundtrack at Wal-Mart before the movie, but they didn't have it. And now I really want it after hearing it and seeing the CD covers on NarniaWeb. Does anyone have it that they can upload until I can buy one? I really want to listen to it now. I would appreciate it a lot. (:
I actually liked the kiss, once I saw it.
Overall: It was fantastic. I will see it again. I hope you all do, too.
