Dad back friday

Had my dad and two occupational therapists in the house today checking it was sufficient and he was capable to leave the hospital and go home.  He got the thumbs up and will be back in his own house friday.  He's chuffed and so am I.  I'm going to probably be spending a lot of time there if not entirely moving back in again for two weeks.  I've been doing a lot this last few weeks, but my help is all the more important for a while now.  It has really brought home all the stuff we hear about carers at the moment.  I cannot countenance what this would be like every day, year after year.  We've got the funeral booked for the friday after as well, things seem to be settling down.  Going back to uni was very odd, I'd essentially had six weeks without normal life, so this is another step towards reality.

Yay for doctors.  Yay for paramedics and physiotherapists.  Yay for nurses.  Yay, motherfucking yay!
