Cue massive splurge
OK, a roundup of the last two weeks for those who missed out on details or were totally unaware:
My parents were caught in a car crash on sunday the 30th of november about 1:20 in the morning, my mum was killed on impact, my dad and two friends were injured. Stuart broke his wrist, his wife Pam broke both her legs and one arm and dislocated the other. My dad sustained a head injury, broke his cheekbones, all his right ribs and four of his left ones, his right scapula and clavicle, his left neck of humerus, his right ring finger, the left wing of his pelvis, the top of his left femur and broke and dislocated his left ankle. He was unconscious and ventilated for a week, then woken and informed of my mom's death on tuesday, he was delirious and hallucinating, and unco-operative on the first few days awake. He was moved out of intensive care today and is still a trifle confused but mostly himself. Pam and Stuart are both on the mend as well
My brother is staying with me at the mo in our parents' house and we're both doing well.
