If they offer you the job, ask for some time to sleep on it and say you'll get back to them in a day or two. If they put undue pressure on you, you have your answer (a big fat no - undue pressure is a red flag that working there would be hell on earth); and if they allow you that day or two, you'll have time to take a breath/weigh your options/get support.

Good on ya for going - whatever the outcome, it'll spare you the what-ifs.
