Now that I'm somewhat recovered...
So yes. Headed up to D.C. after work yesterday and met rosieknight by the elephant in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. ^_^ I have been jonesing to see the Hall of Human Origins since I first heard of it, but we wandered through the Sant Ocean Hall, a truckload of colonial bones, and SPARTAAAAA first. Then we walked a couple blocks down to the Air and Space museum, wherein we brainstormed for Steampunk Beast Wars and speculated which bits of Washington various Transformers would enjoy. (Skyfire is still holed up in the basement of the National Archives. Beachcomber had to be pried out of the Gem and Mineral exhibit in Natural History with a crowbar.)
Lucky thing I had the day off today. I needed that time to recover from all that fun (and the heat, zomg).
