Now I personally would love to read something about how Anamaria got her ship ... but when I said "accessories," I thought more about the personal items one keeps on their person (like a hat, a piece of jewelry, scarf, etc.). Is there another prompt you could come up with that's more of a personal item?

(Yeah, I know. I too can hear Jack bellowing about how the Pearl is a personal item. But still, it's a ship. Too big to wear or carry in one's pocket. *G*)

I can try, but it took me awhile to think of to begin with because everything else was too general for the characters left. Hopefully they haven't started writing anything yet either.

It's not a tragedy if your tagged person has started writing, but if you want to ask and see via PM, that's OK by me. Just let me know.

The edit looks like a good compromise. I wasn't horribly clear in my initial post and the more I thought about it, the more I figured "well, maybe the ship DOES qualify after all, since it's something one can own." (I wanted to make the challenge just about clothing, but I figured if too many people signed up, the might get bored writing about shirts or boots all the time, so I included accessories. *G*)

The long and short is whichever your person picks, I'm OK with.

I really liked this, and how Gillette and Norrington met. I never really thought about where those wigs came from. Just how hot they must have been in the tropics.

I do hope that by the time he made Commodore, James could afford a wig with real human hair. My aunt used to have a horsehair couch and all I can remember about it was that it was very itchy.
