There is so much here to love, that I have no idea where to begin. All of it, really, overall ... I think the most important is that it's a happy ending - in the sense that everything works out well for everyone. No angst. No screwing anyone over. No death or leaving anyone out, or making someone unhappy. These two are just where they ought to be, with each other, and Ana's about to get her own ship (finally!).

I love how in-character they are. Lots of people think Jack wouldn't be so emotional, but there are plenty of times he does show emotion even if he doesn't explain himself. (Plus, his ship is his One True Love; of course he can tell and show her anything. But he wouldn't do it in front of the full crew.)

Loved this story, loved how Jack talks to the Pearl and she talks back, lovelovelove the dynamic between Our Heroes. I'm sure you know you gave yourself away, O mystery writer, but I loved the presence of Black and Black, too. Thank you for this -- what a treat!

I too love this. And since Jack/Pearl is my OTP, I doubly love him talking to her and her talking back!

Love the whole mystery, the tattoo, the crew....the nautical details are a nice touch.

Loved it. :D Will does tend to jump to conclusions, but you can't really blame him this time. I was all set up for angst and h/c, then I remembered how often that turns out to be a red herring. :P

I always love fics like this. Jack, Will, Pearl. I love it when she talks back to him, and I really liked how Will could sort of interpret her a little bit. :)
