gah! i was just browsing through the online site for one of my courses, and my professor has posted the syllabus. and so i read it. and the entirety of my semester grade is going to be based on a series of presentations. yikes! now this isn't as unreasonable as it may sound. it's a teaching course and the whole point is to learn how to teach. and so preparing lesson plans and then acting them out does make a lot of sense actually. but it just gives me a little flutter in my stomach to know that my grade is going to be determined that way. i know, in the sensible part of my brain, that this is going to be really good for me and i'm going to learn a lot. but my stomach can only rustle up a "gah!" in response.
