A Series of Unfortunate Events.... is how my day was going....
Well, let me start off with this... About two months ago... I think... Was it? God, I don't know... Let's just pretend it was.... Wait!!! March plus three? Yeah, June... That was two months.... Okay, now that I have that all worked out and am receiving strange looks from people like Sara....
Two months ago Rob and I were going to go down to Towson again, just to go to the mall.... LOL. Because we're weird... Well we took the back roads like MapQuest gave us because Rob didn't feel like the interstate. They stopped being acurate after the first page and the road it mentioned were nowhere to be found. So we got lost in PA somewhere where we had no cell phone service. Then it took us up through Thurmont. So we turned around, stopped at a gas station so Rob could pee and I could get some snacks. Then we used the interstate... On the way back, we got lost, it was getting dark, we don't know where we are. We missed an exit, Rob was freaking and I was too, but trying to stay calm for his sake. We finally got off somewhere and I called my house for directions. Then got back really late. Crazy. We almost went under the harbor in Baltimore. Good thing we turned. You have to pay to get through the tunnel!
Then yesterday, we left church a little early. We went to Borders for while, then went to leave so I could get ready to go to work that 3. This is at 2. The keys are in the locked up car. Along with my purse and phone. I only had my wallet. So we used all the money we had to use the pay phone to call all the numbers we knew and no one was there. I called my house first and got the machine... left a message (because I figured with CID they wouldn't answer a payphone's call) saying, "Mom it's me... pick up... Are you there?.... I'm stranded somewhere... The keys are locked in the car.... Okay.... bye I guess...." Then later when we got no one else, I realized I should have said where I was. To call his cell at his house (their phone is out right now) or my mom's cell, it would be $2.75. Stupid. My home phone is a WV number, too, but they count it as local and not the cells. So we used the last 50 cents to call my house again to tell our location... Then we went outside and sat on the bench for a half hour or so. Rob was upset and all... I told him I thought it was funny. I still do. I started joking saying that my mom would get there and realize she forgot the key. He said "Watch her be down at Home Depot!" which is right down on the same strip with Borders... There's that, Wal-Mart, Marshall's, A.C. Moore, Dress Barn, Circuit City.... the whole works. Rob said he was going to walk down to Circuit City and try to e-mail his house from their computer. He started walking and I said, "Wait! Is that her? I can't tell if that's a CRV or not..." He came back and said it wasn't. Then he turned and said, "But that looks like her..." And it was. She rolled the window down and said, "How did this happen?" I said "I wasn't driving!" Haha. And get this... She was at Wal-Mart... So they had to turn around and come back to where they started. Then on the way to his house I was joking, "Watch us run out of gas now and my phone will be dead." He told me if that happens it's my fault and he's blaming me. It was great.
Oh my God... So I get this e-mail from Amazon.com saying that Hanson has a new CD out and I'm like, "Whoa they're still around?! COOL!!" So I go to their webside and as I'm waiting for a page to load, I see "Kate" pop up on the screen. I now know why, but it made me remember Zac's girlfriend and I wondered if they ever got married. I remembered hearing of here when I was 15 or 16. So I go to Wikipedia because I saw they had a page on them. ALL THREE ARE MARRIED NOW! Taylor, I knew of. And I knew he had two kids. Ezra and Penelope... (Is that where their song "Penny and Me" comes from!?) But another one was just born not too long ago! And Ezra is like... 5 now! And Isaac has a son! And he and Zac just got married last year! Not to each other.... Isaac married a Nicole and Zac did marry Kate. Zac and Tay were dumb and got married in June when it's all like hot and stuff.... Ike did it in September. Like me and Rob were going to do but things didn't work out that way.... But Zac doesn't have kids yet... I'm amazed.
And I never did take that picture of my mangled finger like I wanted to.
