I'm not quite sure when the last time I wrote anything of substance. I have been busy saying goodbye to students and preparing to leave for home on Friday morning. Last week Mindy's dad had a massive stroke and severe heart attack. He will most likely remain paralyzed on his right side. It is just scary. I missed Jennifer's bachularette party and I am excited to see Jen and Brad at their wedding on Saturday. It is sad my students are leaving and I will probably never see them again. It can be an interesting thing getting so close to people, but realizing that you really don't know them at all.
This weekend my last in DC for a while but not forever was cool! Denna, Pamela, Mike and I went to the Dixie Chicks concert. Before hand we went to dinner at this nice restaurant and it was very close to the concert arena. The show was very good even though we were in nosebleed heaven. After the show Denna and I grabbed a smoothie before heading back to the metro. Sunday we all got together again at Denna's house and I made threeway for lunch, and it was good! This week will be finishing up stuff then leaving Friday morning.
