OK, fine people of Blatt physical fitness center. The correct time to clean the cardio deck is debatable, but I can *guarantee* you that it's not 10:30 AM. Inhaling floor cleaner + running isn't a great combo. booooo.
(stolen from AJ) (and the "five questions" community)
1. Are you named after anyone? If so, explain.
I have a double middle name (Jeanine Katherine) as a compromise to my parents. My mom wanted it to be Katherine, since that name is used atleast once in every generation of females in her family (after, initially, my great grandmother). My dad wanted it to be Jeanine, which is my mother's middle name. Megan isn't after anyone.
2. Do you have your children's names picked out already? If so, is there any significance?
I've always thought that that's a decision that should be shared between people. Since I don't have kids and don't plan on having any any time soon (I'm not even sold on having them *at all*), I don't have any names.
3. If you were born a member of the opposite sex what would your name have been?
My mom wanted to name me Cassidy. My grandmother attempted to ruin this name by saying "Cassidy" and whistling, since she said it was like a name for an Irish Setter, but it didn't work. So, I would have had lots of issues and bruises throughout childhood.
4. If you could re-name yourself what name would you pick and why?
I'm pretty happy with Maggie. I guess I'd go by my middle name (Katherine) and shorten it to Kate.
5. Are there any mispronunciations/typos that people do w/ your name constantly?
You'd be amazed at how difficult it apparently is to pronounce "brock". I get "brook" "book" "bock" "broke" and many more.
