national cathedral
Originally uploaded by rainyharmony. today was our DC scavenger hunt, which consisted of us running around DC from 9AM to about 6PM. despite more exhaustion than i think i've ever experienced in my life, i am absolutely thrilled.
this is the national cathedral, as viewed from part of the bishop's garden behind it. it is gorgeous.
it's nice to see the *other* part of DC, the non-political, non-museum, non-touristy part. granted, a lot of what we saw today (cathedral included) appeals to tourists, but a lot was also off of the beaten path.

on another vaguely passive agressive note, i hate losing friends. i especially hate it when, in the wake of a nasty breakup (*hypothetically*), people feel that they have to choose between the involved parties. i've never understood this. personally, i don't care if my friends are friends with my ex. apparently a lot of people don't share this opinion. to them, i say: friends are a blessing. the more of them, the better - but only when honesty is involved. pretending to remain friends with someone simply to maintain appearances does nothing but aggravate any underlying tensions that may exist.

to others, i say: if you talk poorly about me behind my back, i will probably not respond, but will lose all respect for you as a friend.

on that LOVELY note, i am going to continue enjoying this *rockin* city and probably call it a night ;)

oh! still no job. ...yea. they're "working" on a position. mmmhmmm....
