The ever living ghost of what once was...

I saw a baby being born...and I gotta play the Reeve's card with one overly dramatic, "whoa". It's a majesticly beautiful, natural, wonderful thing...pure magic, really. While watching the struggling little one squeeze through an area that is not really properly sized for such an action in it's normal state, I found myself feuding on the inside, one side was in a state of awe and the other was leaning more towards ...grossness. It was amazing though. I went with my friend Jen to the hospital, I helped her through contractions...I held her hand through the whole process and when the moment came, I took photos...lots of them(upon her request of course). Now there's a little Wyatt here...that was not here before...how is it that we all come goo covered from the womb, and end up being who we are today? That the process works out for so many of us...it's phenomenal. So that's something.

Other than that, not a lot to report I suppose. I'm on my tenth day straight of work, and DAMN. But luckily today is the last for a couple at least. It's all worth it though, because I my bad ass manager Mick has agreed to give me off both the 10-11 for the Emerald City Comicon and at least the 25-26 for Sasquatch. The Cure? Deathcab? Flight of the Conchords? The Kooks? The Presidents? The Flaming Lips? Who will have seen them all? This girl. Hopefully, I will get all three so I can see REM and Modest Mouse as well...but we'll see, I suppose.

Oh, and one more awesome opportunity...a lady at work, came out of no where with the info that she is playing in a zombie flick that's being filmed in Port Gamble...a contender at the Toronto Film festival...Zombies of Mass Destruction. I know, I know...AWESOME, right? Well, she emailed the producer, and mentioned me so I have the in for at least an extra in the movie...but more so than that, I was hoping to chat someone on set up for a possible, tech role. To see my name on screen under stage hand gives me goosebumps...I love it. I wants it! ;)

My vices as of late have been Matt Costa, Band of Horses,  Against Me!, Home Movies, Sims2 and I finally have My So-Called Life on DVD, damn I love that show. So things here are good times, good times. :D
