Furniture!
Hello Everyone!
I am moving into a new apartment and have decided to leave behind the shabby free furniture of my college days and upgrade.
I am looking for some interesting vintage and second hand pieces that are presentable, in decent shape, and affordable. Maybe I am asking for too much?
Anyway, besides craigslist and Ikea - where do you recommend I go?
I know there are several antique furniture stores in the city but do you know of any that are reasonably priced and highly recommended?
My friend told me about a place that's really wonderful but only open about once a month on Nicollet or Chicago? Do any of you know what the name or where this is?
I am willing to go to the suburbs and am looking for the following pieces:
Dining room table
Dining Room Chairs
Nightstand
Small table or desk for computer/sewing and art projects
Side tables
Rugs
Couch or comfortable chairs
Book Shelf
Lamps
