Things are lookin´up.
Well in 6 short weeks I will be home.
Although I love it here and coming back will be quite sad, there are some things I am really looking forward to. It looks like I will be designing a major in social justice and minority studies which will be really sweet, I got a job as a latino community organizer at acorn.org, I have totally sweet housing plans for this summer and next year. All I have to do is write my thesis here and all is smooth sailing.
Things I want to do when I get back to the U.S.
-Go to drinking with Ian (because I am not sure I even know/understand what it is)
-Eat Pho on Nicollet
-Play night games
-Build bike
-Ride Bike
-Cook
-Be vegetarian again
-Frolic with friends
-Visit Roz in Chicago (Can we eat vegetarian soul food and go thrifting?!?!?!)
-Visit everyone at VV
-Quality time with the Parents
-Visiting my very pregnant sister in Oregon - it is going to be a girl
-Buying clothes not made with spandex
And a million other things. Who´s in? It will be so good to see everyone again.
Well time to go, on Good Friday we eat a huge feast called the fanesca which apparently is a big plate with every kind of food on it ever. I´ll let ya´ll knows how it is.
