works better on Central time

Wow. Just wow. It's amazing how much history can be found in old AIM convos and among the files of an out of date laptop. Interesting.

My Christmas break has been a vacation away from my present. I have been thrust into the past through situations and feelings long forgotten. How do you function after something like that? Easy, you get over it. Again. You remind yourself that the present is here for all the reasons the past didn't work. Its easy when you beat it into your head for a few days.

I finally go back to work/school on Monday. I have been doing nothing since December 13th. I put work before school as I will be doing an internship with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS.) I will be working child protective investigations. I'm excited and apprehensive at the same time. I psych myself out before I start new things, so... here's hoping.

Otherwise than that... Chicago was fun and the place and people are dearly missed. Bradenton was also lots of fun too, although in a very different way.

My body is currently in a state of atrophy and I think I will need days to recover. I haven't been sleeping much in the past few days. Harvest Moon DS has taken over a portion of my life that I will never get back. In addition, I have watched several movies: Rumor Has It..., The Ringer, Fatal Attraction, Must Love Dogs, 40-Year Old Virgin (like three times,) Bean, In Her Shoes, Underworld: Evolution, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Most of the movies sucked, with the exceptions of Fatal Attraction and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? What a combo.

What can I say, My dad's cable rocks. It's the perfect time to watch all the movies I "wanted" to see, but felt I would probably not like for some reason.

So yeah. Tallahassee soon. Honestly. Tomorrow actually.
