On one hand, I'm getting tips and bases for improving my fiction writing technique.
On the other, I'm beta-reading an episode script and giving my two cents on things I actually apparently know -- scene direction, camera action, scriptwriting, post-prod and gayspeak, to name a few. For real.
Talk about stark contradictions. (Battleship Potemkin?)
Moral of the vignette: You learn what you know. It's just a matter of time before you know what they know, so don't lose hope. Don't forget: you're a fast learner. ^_^
