quite unlike me to post twice in one day. but i am feeling compelled to record how i am finding joy in the most simple things around me here. like a father re-painting his georgian door on a saturday afternoon, and the smallest little boy trying to scrape his shoes on the antique foot scraper outside his house. i don't know what it is, but lately i've just been so grateful to be alive. oh, and i miss mac and mancos pizza, by the way.
