The season the keeps on giving? I guess so and I won't complain!
Yesterday my mom took me and bought us a 32" LCD HDTV/DVD Combo flat screen TV! She said she also wants to buy us a dresser but I may ask her to get the kids a big toy box instead. I need a place to put all their squaller. Last night when I was driving home from my moms with our tv, my aunt Marissa called (my dad's sister) and said my grandma was trying to get ahold of me. So I called my grandma and she said that there were a lot of gifts over there for the kids and wanted me to bring the kids over so they could open them. So John and I decided that I'd go over there and let them get their gifts. So when I got there to my granny's house I saw my grandma, grandpa, aunt Marissa and aunt Susan. They were all nice and seemed to be glad to see us. Conner got more cars, legos and some playdough. Brenna got a baby doll, a pink teddy bear that sparkles, another teddy bear and some really cute clothes. Meanwhile, my dad sat over across the street at my other grandma's house, probably pouting. He never came over to see the kids. I'm not complaining because I didn't really care to see him at all but I am a bit surprised that he didn't come to see the kids. I could care less if he wants to see me or not. That's fine though, my kids are so much better off without him in their lives.
This afternoon I will try to clean the living room some. We have so many empty boxes from diapers and christmas... it's unreal! I need to get them to the dumpster but I will probably wait until after dark because for some reason my apartment manager has a problem with us putting cardboard boxes in the dumpster. Where the heck am I supposed to put them?? LOL I fold them up at least.
UGH I am so tired. I've been thinking about all the people that are pregnant that I know. I think the count is up to 7! One woman I know is pregnant with twins! I believe there's a baby boom going on :)
