my new apartment!
So, in about a week and a half I will be moving into my new apartment! I went and signed the lease yesterday, so now it's official!
For anyone who may have missed hearing the awesomeness of it, here is a recap.
It's at Washington and 11 mile. Which is a block from downtown Royal Oak.
It's a studio. But big enough for just me.
It has a cute front porch and a huge backyard.
I have my own parking space.
It has a washer and dryer IN it. Which is awesome.
It's $365 a month and I only have to pay for electricity.
I couldn't be any more excited. I can't wait to get moved in and be on my own. It's going to be good times.
Today I am going to go through all of my stuff. I've got things in my house, in my nan's house, in my garage. I'm not going to be able to bring everything. But that's ok, I need to get rid of a bunch of stuff that I don't really need.
I already starting making lists. The things I have. The things I need to buy. Most of the stuff I need to buy is just all the little things like shampoo and laundry detergent and ziploc bags and stuff like that. I might need to get a few furniture things, but nothing that I can't live without for a little while. The only thing I need to get sooner rather than later is kitchen stuff. Like pots and pans and dishes and silverware.
I feel trips to Ikea and Target coming in the very near future.
