He took it all too far, but boy could he play guitar.

Things have been good, thanks. Lots of haning around and just doing whatever comes to mind, like Friday when Dustin offered me a ride to Twin Village so I could randomly buy a harmonica in the key of C. That little bit of purchasing made a whole lot of sense. Why the hell don't we always just do what we want? Yes, there must be social order to avoid a chaos outbreak. But really, what is stopping everyone from doing stuff they truly enjoy? It gets a bit disheartening to hear folks say things like, "I wish I would have..." "If only..." or "Oh, too bad I never..."
After school the other day, Tom and Dan came back to LHS for a while to talk with Pepe and, of course Chels and I joined. Mr. Pepe is a smart man. He makes people think. It was mentioned how there is more to life than high school and how many students don't realize it until it's too late. It made me wonder where we all fit in, in this big scheme. How will we each be remembered as individuals when we're gone? Are we even seen as seperates now? What sets each of us apart from everyone else? There's too much invested in high school, I think. There are too many expectations put on these years. That they are the BEST years of your life. From what others have told me, college is the best time one could ever have, and family love overrides every other feeling. On the contrary, though, these years are fun. And some people need to stop and be thankful for what we have. We are priveledged children. The dwellings of yesterdays will do nothing but damper tomorrow, and I wish people could see that. Why don't we all love freely again, let's invest in the music instead of the clothing lines, let's play our harmonicas when there's nothing else to do. Ah Bartleby! Ah humanity!

P.S. "I Dig Music."
yes.
