I just wanted to point out the absurdity of this:

Ok, this article is on CNN's webpage:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/03/22/nyc.coyote/index.html

and so there was this coyote in Central Park. So I imagine they shot him with tranquilizers and they're going to take him somewhere into the wilderness. Same thing happened a few years ago, that Jay told me about, in his town in metro Detroit. This bald eagle was confused and perched atop a 7-11 sign, kind of freaked out by all the people, you know? So they shot it with tranquilizers and released it elsewhere.

Ok, so you're an animal, you have NOOOOO idea what tranquilizers are, and you're just hanging out you know, in a park or on a sign or whatever. Suddenly, like instantly, you're in a completely different place, with an awful headache, and no idea how you got there. Hilarious.

Similarly, a few times when I'm flyfishing, I'll hook a really tiny fish. I can't really tell how small they are when they swirl at my fly, so when I set the hook, the fish comes flying out of the water. Really flying. Imagine that, too: you're like, sweet, lunch, I'll bite it. Then, instantly, you're in this ENTIRELY different world.

I think it's kind of hilarious.

Boy, I'm glad I wrote this.
