I just got an email from MIT's science writing program. It's clearly an auto-email, but it's from a professor who wants to "set up a time to talk about science writing" and MIT's program while the committee "makes its final decisions." Ok, 1) it's an auto-email, so you know, these things are going out to mutliple people, obviously; but 2), no professor would take the time to call me if they weren't semi-seriously considering my application, right? Right?

I fucking hate this grad school shit.

In other news, I learned to knit in the round tonight; I'm making my very own beer cozy.
