Saturday, my husband let me sleep the day away. I love when that happens, he had man time with the booger. They watched cartoons and cuddled. At 130 he sent the booger to make me get out of bed and dress both of us. We went to lunch and then hit up clothing and sales. Since hubby is headed for Korea he needs new ACUs plus he needed new socks for his boots. I had to go because we had to put it on my credit card. Ick! I hate doing that. Just clothing and sales hit us up for $215 then to go over and have the name tapes, and rank sewn on cost another $55! Ouch. At least he didn't buy new boots. I hope he waits until his clothing allowance comes in for those. After that I hit up the grocery store for a few minor things so we could have dinner and the booger had milk. We came home and watched the Ravens win, as well as the 49ers. Booger started to fall asleep on my lap so I offered him the chance to go help me with laundry. He loves helping with laundry. Actually I think he likes getting to be upstairs. While up there he decided since I wasn't going to let him play on my phone or watch cartoons he wanted a bubbly bubbly bath. I ran him one and used my bubbles because that's all I had. He was in the bath for like an hour and half. I couldn't believe he wasn't freezing. I had to drag him out of the bath. I ended up doing 4 loads of laundry that day which caught up what I didn't do last time I did laundry, and started this round of laundry. Hubby went to bed around 2 I think. I stayed up until 330ish.
Sunday I got up with booger at 8. Ouch. I didn't feel great I couldn't get warm which started the night before while at the grocery store, so when hubby came downstairs I went back to bed for a couple of hours. Booger came to get me at 1 again. He was hungry. I knew he was because he was upset with daddy and wanted me. I got hubby to fix him lunch and I got up found my glasses and put my hair back up. Booger ran around all day in his PJs and was thrilled with life. We watched the Falcons barely pull out a win which Matt Ryan needed to prove he had the goods to be an NFL quarterback. You gotta win playoff games! We watched the patriots and the texans and we were really pulling for the texans but *sigh* the patriots won. I really want the ravens to kick their butt next weekend. I want Ray Lewis to retire a superbowl Champ. Since I can't watch my Chiefs here in Baltimore I'll root for the home team. Plus hubby is a cowboys fan and you cannot be a redskins fan in his presence. We took a family nap during the first half of the game. I only woke up because of Booger screaming because daddy woke him up. I didn't feel great and didn't want to make dinner but if I didn't make it we weren't going to eat. *sigh* I ended up using the leftover meatballs I made for meatball sandwiches and turning them into meatball pockets. I wrapped the meatball and a piece of string cheese in a biscuit. It was okay not great but quick and easy to do when all you want to do is go to bed. I know what I'll do differently next time. I wanted to go to bed when booger did but hubby needed uniform tshirts. So I ended up doing two loads of laundry because the night before there was softener residue left in the machine and you can't wash the new ACUs in softener or they glow in the dark on night vision I guess. So I did towels and then uniforms. By then I was wide awake and couldn't sleep so I was up until 2 went to bed and laid there until 3. ugh. I need to stop sleeping during the day or I won't sleep at night.
I missed my appt with the nutritionist and with my therapist last week. I didn't have anyone to watch booger, which would have been okay to take him to the nutritionist but I can't imagine taking him to therapy. I canceled that one at the last minute. I have another one this week that I hope I can make and then I'm done with therapy until I get settled in Oklahoma. the 1st of February can't get here soon enough.
