It is very difficult to find the correct things to say after something like this has happened to someone. I am sorry you are in so much pain, but I am sure that things will improve for you. I had bugged the shit out of Chris to take me to the hospital to see you (and he told me he didn't know if the number he had of yours was the correct one and a number of other lame excuses, I'm still pissed at him for it, he can sure be a lazy ass sometimes). Your disability will be approved, I am sure. I can't imagine why it wouldn't be. Also, you may qualify for WIC if you are still anemic since that is one of the qualifications (there are others and income restrictions as well- usually used by pregnant women and those with young children, but hey). That could help keep food on the table at any rate since it'll be a while before you can work again. I'm not sure if food stamps are an option for you, but if it is please don't turn your nose up at it. If you're still dehydrated, maybe I can convince (read: beat) Chris into taking me to the store to get you some Pedialyte (since it's a damn sight better than Gatorade or some other such garbage). Hopefully they have given you slow-release iron pills for the anemia? Slow-release iron irritates the GI tract less than regular supplements and that's what they put me on for my mild anemia. Let me know how/when/if I can help.
