Summary: She would eventually leave that world behind.
There was a place in her mind where Tsuna held her instead of Kyoko, and ran his fingers through her hair instead of his fiancee’s. She only really listened to that side of her mind at night, and only to fall asleep and dream of somewhere where he whispered in her ear as they walked through the park, hand in hand, laughing at little inside jokes and shared secrets. But she couldn’t keep from listening to it sometimes, when it painted such a pretty world.
In that world, when she ran into Tsuna and Kyoko in the library, Tsuna would be the one to say, "You cut your hair. It looks really cute like that."
In that world, when the family all got together, she would be the one at Tsuna’s side when Lissuria and Bianchi argued over who had the cutest couple in their headquarters.
In that world, she would be the one in the flowing white gown exchanging her vows and becoming Tsuna’s wife.
She smiles and congratulates the bride in this one, she wishes them the best of luck, and pretends to be over a childish crush from ten years ago, because one of these days she will be.
But there’s a place in her mind where Tsuna leans over to kiss his wife and it’s Haru’s mouth there instead.
