Random Update
Things have been kinda crazy lately, to say the least. School has been insane, but it's almost over. I will need to bust by butt to get all my research papers finished on time, but I'm willing to go the distance. I also need to decide if I am going to go to Kalamazoo (I was thinking not, and then the list of sessions came out.....) and send out some paper proposals.
Today I am needing to split my time between my baptism icon and Lucas Cranach Judgment of Paris, I need to produce a one page abstract on Cranach that includes: subject, argument, methodology, textual evedence, and probable conclusions... oh and the prof wants us to weave in the "so what" as to how this paper advances issues in our sub-fields. That's alot of info to slam into a very short space. For my icon, it's alot less formal, but I am meeting with the prof on Monday so I need to figure out what I'm doing.
Spring break was awsome. Anastacia and I took a girls trip to Disneyland, and had a ton of fun. We rode all the rides several times, watched the fireworks and Fantasmic several nights, and just soaked in the magic. I also made a point of not taking any work with me, so now I'm a bit "behind" but I needed the mental break. It was good for me to take a few days and just check out of my program. And I got some great bonding time in with my princess, which seems really important now that she's spending more time at school than at home.
Anyways, I just thought I should check in :) Now I'm off to get some more work done.
