howdy.
still swamped, but i'm massively add-ing, sooo storytime.
1) prank: so kim and dan originally had this prank going on where the goal was to get me to wear a ridiculous outfit to class- this involves taking away all my clothes except for the one outfit and creating a situation where i would be forced to change. the first part is easy, the second was to be done by throwing water on me after class. so far so good. then, kim gets the idea that- well, while pranking someone is good, double crossing during a prank is better. so she lets me in on the prank, and we decide to switch it up so that, after class (dan and i have chem lab at the same time) it'd be dan who'd get doused with water, and we'd leave him an outfit instead. so, the day comes, one sunny friday afternoon, dan reena and i get out of lab and are walking towards my building- when we get to the door, kim and tiff come out and WHOOSH- dan is drenched, but double crossing TWICE- janice is also drenched. treachery and betrayal, and two for the price of one. we go to dan's room first to check out the clothes left for him- i have pictures somewhere but i can't find them right now so use your imagination - red scrub bottoms with bright blue kangaroo shoes, tye-dye t-shirt, light blue button down with tiny green and blue butterflies on it, orange construction hat. theeen we go up to my room: (this is only funny if you know me and my disinclination to wear pink of any shade...) jean miniskirt, bright bright pink (i mean highlighter pink) tank top that has this weird flowly bow-ful stuff coming off the back...(its a fob shirt kim got from china..that should give you an idea of what it looks like) flapper beads, ridiculous ginormous sunglasses, those stupid embroidered net sandal things annnnd makeup that's so pink it glows in the sun. yes, we went to class in that getup- yes, it was ridiculous and we got a lot of crap for it. entertaining- also yes.
next target: kimberly chang, treacherous wench extraordinaire.
2) hiking- so i went hiking yesterday at john bryan state park - its about 40 minutes away from cincinnati, and its beaaaautiful. o, but before we went: my mother warned me about playing in the water, the buddy system, and hwai ren at night, and dan's mom warned him about bears - (bears, of all things...though when we go to the park i called home to let the people know i made it safely...>.< and i told megan about the bears, and that night when i got back the mother called to check up on me, and sure enough, she asked if we were attacked by any bears. paranoid asian rents!) anyway...it was so so so green and calm and there were hiking trails and a river and it was amazing. and then we made a fire, and while we forgot to bring anything to burn, just making a fire was entertaining enough. it really makes me miss camping- we used to go like 7 times a year with eight other asian families, and we'd always hike during the day and then in the dark and tell stupid ghost stories and it was amazing. we dont' do that anymore...sad, but this trip definitely made my weekend. =)
3) eap reviews- so, for my program we get reviewed during our second year by these scary board people- basically they get all your information about what you've been doing during the last year and a half, and they tell you how inadequate you are in school, in extracurriculars, in life....and then they kick you out of osu.
minus the kicking you out of osu bit, but its still intimidating.
sooo i'm freaking out about that, but there's not much to be done except for wait til tomorrow and hope the guy's in a good mood. wah.
