Regarding the Recent Death of a Dragonkin
Well... I've just heard the news about Starblade's demise. I never talked to the guy, though I have seen his name around before this. I'm not sure what I feel other than sad.
Baxil wrote a nice eulogy. Short version of what has happened can be found on Flayrah. I was disturbed enough that the guy had been supposedly killed by a "friend" but more disturbed to read that Starblade was on the Autism Spectrum as well. With some of my son's tendencies, his possibly developing things that Starblade was known for is a thought that disturbs me (stalking behaviors, for example).
No matter what he was known for though, the fact remains that he has family that stays on this side of the veil...
His family has started a memorial scholarship fund.

"In lieu of flowers, the Finnigan Family requests donations to the "Matthew Paul Finnigan Memorial Scholarship Fund", P.O. Box 1243, Alamo, CA 94507."
I hope that they are able to give goodsized scholarships in his memory...
