I'm too frustrated to do the book art, not quiet enough to listen for where I need to rerecord sentences for stupid fucking bumps. Ok, I thought, I shall play a game.
A game I don't have to concentrate much.
A game I can just stumble through because I already know its focus is story as Oscy had told me about it ages ago.
I fire up said game, spend some time in disorientation figuring out controls (no, I did not bother reading, I expected to remember usual layout and for it to work) and learning that every non directional button had the same function for this game. Fine. Ok.
Stumble around exploring trying to get the story...
Unable to hear story to understand wtf is going on on this island with the light houses. EVERY story point got TALKED OVER because that's when Merlin would choose to come talk to me, unaware I was playing a game much less wanted to hear it.
Found pretty caves. Like glowy caves.
Somehow found end. Missed triggering some points though and I have several achievements to unlock. Grrrr. Gonna have to play depressing game with dude talking about sickness, kidney stones, and suicide by jumping off the aerial all over again to knock those out.
Did have tenacle cthulhu squidy thing painted a few places. Current headcanon is that Dude started too long into the Abyss. Or read a thing and lost sanity points. Lots of sanity points.
Good thing it was not a shooty game. Not got focus for shooty game right now. I also am not feeling particularly advanced in the word department tonight. I wish my ear would stop bothering me. I'm tired of feeling low key sick all the bloody time.
