Roses are red, violets are blue, the handcuffs didn't work, hey hey...

If you've seen that episode of IAG, you can finish the quote in the title. The part I left out seems appropriate though, given what's happened. That, and I just like making Jonathan references. lol. Today has been better. I woke up at 9:30, which kinda threw me off, but oh well.

You know, it's fine that he's back with her. Not bragging, but she's not as talented as I am. She only got in wind ensemble because Dr. J needed someone to play bass clarinet and she needed all the people who actually auditioned for a clarinet spot to fill out the section. I don't think she's as smart as I am either. If he wants to downgrade, then so be it. Maybe he'll get what he wants from her...he sure as hell didn't get it from me. I'm not that kind of girl, nor will I ever be. I'll find some blue-eyed, curly-haired guy. Those are my two big "things." They're not at all requirements for me to date a guy, but it's certainly awesome if he has them. He'll make me laugh, appreciate and love me for who I am, put up with my nerdiness (and probably be one himself since I tend to gravitate towards the nerdy type), and just generally make me happy. He's out there...somewhere.

I've been playing Pokemon Blue a lot...yay old school! My team makes me giggle. My Wartortle is named Greg, my Pikachu is Jonathan (couldn't resist, it's the cuteness thing), Ryan is my Pidgeotto, Brad is my Weepinbell, Drew is my Dugtrio, and Jeff is my Mew. Irony with that last one...lol. I also have a Butterfree named Heather. I'm sure I have something named for Colin in my PC...I just can't remember what it is. Yes, I'm a nerd.

I've been reading a lot lately. Right now I'm reading Hot Six by Janet Evanovich. The entire Stephanie Plum series is just hilarious. I highly recommend anything that Evanovich has written. They're funny (as I mentioned), and they're quick reads. I love reading the next book in the series after I've read a couple of Michael Palmer's medical thrillers or James Patterson's legal novels to break up the drama. After I finish that I'll probably reread Wicked. I love that book, and I've been listening to the soundtrack so much recently.

I'm hoping to go see fireworks with Jennifer on the 4th. We've talked about it, we just have to find a place to go. I know of a few cities that'll have a display...hmm.

My cousin came over with her son for a surprise visit today :) I love Cameron so freaking much. He turned me putting his shirt on him and buttoning it up for him into a game, and he wanted to see the kittens outside. My Pikachu doll became a wrestling buddy too. He's so adorable! I can only hope that my future children turn out that way.

Also, big thanks to fbrobey and greenforgreen for their comments on last night's entry. That's what I needed to read/hear. You're both awesome! *hugs*

Okay...time to vaccuum. Cam got grass all over the carpet.
