Yay!

First things first...I just started watching 30 Rock (fail for me not doing this sooner). After the SNL finale and my recent discovery of 30 Rock, is it at all weird that I find Alec Baldwin somewhat attractive in an older guy kind of way? Forget all that stuff that's been in the news and whatever. There's just something that I can't quite pinpoint. Hmm. Anyway. Andy and Seth are still my eye-candy! hah! Will Forte on 30 Rock's finale cracked me up! XD

I'm going to see MacGruber tomorrow with Kiv! I'm super-excited because it's going to be insanely awesome. Me, my best friend, coffee, and MacGruber. It doesn't get any better than that! I'm driving in Paducah, which kind of scares me, but I'll have Kiv helping me. It shouldn't be too bad.

I'm getting really good at tenor sax. I can play almost the entire practical range of the instrument. My low notes suck though. I have named it, but only Kiv can know its name. It makes the tenor sax very perverted anyway. My clarinet's name is Andy, so that isn't it. I'll let you figure it out. (Except for Kiv. She knows.) We're having a conversation about it right now, actually. I love her like a lot.

What else is going on...oh! I'm joining choir, which is way awesome. Apparently the choir at school needs altos, which is what I sing. I'm a high alto though. So I'll probably sing alto I. I don't mind. I just hope the rumor I heard about something that we're performing is true! I'm already way excited for choir tour and all the stuff I'm going to get to do. It's going to be way awesome.

I finished a book and I'm reading Water for Elephants now. It's sooo good. I recommend it to anyone. The writing style makes it easier for me to remember details, which I like a lot. I'm already on page 130, and I started it Tuesday. I might squeeze in two books this month after all! I've already read 14 this year. Yay me. I'm not going to use a booklist like I have for other summers. I'm just going to wing it!

Lady Antebellum is awesome. I don't normally say that about a country artist. GAH. I like Rascal Flatts too. I am from Tennessee, after all...okay, that's really stereotyping people from my state.

Alright, I think that's about it. This entry is random enough. That, and I'm really out of things to type about.

music = life, friends, books
