Sickness aside, I am thrilled! My final GPA for this semester is 3.8, and my cumulative GPA went up to 3.62! Hooray! I hope I keep this on track...I would love for that cumulative average to keep going up until I graduate. I think I'm due for some sort of reward tonight. Now what could that be? Any suggestions? :)

My dad gave me whatever sickness he had...grr! I didn't (and still don't) want it because I've already had my go-round this year and my summer vacation is officially here. I think a combination dosage of QI and Whose Line is the perfect medication. Hopefully I'll just have a scratchy throat for a few days and not the full-blown cold. It's no fun to be unable to breathe properly.

My Alan-cat, unfortunately, is a girl. Her name is now Pumpkin. The other four are males, so that's okay. Their names are Cusi (one of my favorite teachers has the last name of Mancusi), Oreo, Salem, and (Small) Fry. I put the parenthesis around small because he indeed is named after Stephen Fry, and it would make no sense to call a fully-grown male cat small! Back before I changed Alan's name, I got a picture of him playing with (Small) Fry. My not-so-inner QI fan went giggly. Alan playing with Stephen...how cute! Yes, I am insane...

I'm rediscovering my love for classical music, especially classical piano and the symphony. I adore Holst's The Planets. I even found a score of it online and saved it to my computer. It's really fun to listen to it and follow the score, although I do get lost sometimes because some pages are laid out differently than others. That, and there are very few moving parts at times, so I lose count of how many times a certain thing has been played. I suppose that's good practice for when I'm a band director because I'll have to be able to follow a score. Final music geek thing ... I'm reading a Mozart biography. It's really interesting, and I'm learning lots. Hooray learning!

Alright, I'll go now. There's some sort of food that's almost ready.

music = life, school, sickness, kitties!
