I'm feeling much better now, namely because I can breathe properly. My mom gave me some sort of spray that clears me up for a few hours at a time...I'll take what I can get! I had a very very random idea, and I'm going to act on it. It's going to be...
A Day in the Life of Me -- Monday/Wednesday (I have different classes on Tuesday and Thursday)
6:45 AM - Wake up. Stumble out of bed, put my contacts in. Wonder what I'm having for breakfast. Wish it was Friday.
6:50 AM - Fix my cup of coffee, eat breakfast. Wonder how much time I have before I need to get dressed and why I didn't pick out my clothes before I went to bed.
7 AM - Stare at the inside of my closet, hopefully finding an outfit in under five minutes. Answer mom's inevitable question of what I'm going to wear with "I don't know."
Anywhere between 7:10 or 7:15 - Leave the house. Speed to make up time if I leave after 7:10.
7:40 to 7:45 - Arrive at school. Hopefully park at the library. Try to get my books together with a swear thrown in if I can't find what I need, which is quite often.
7:50 - Get to my class. Read my book until the teacher shows up. Wonder how poorly I did on the assignment.
8:00 - Music Theory III starts. Proceed to be confused and bored out of my mind at the same time. Several facepalms at my stupidity when I get an assignment handed back.
8:50 - Teacher lets class out, forcing me to hurry to my next class, which is in a building across campus. Use this time to think of story ideas and/or things to show my friend when she shows up at the library.
8:57 or so - Arrive at my public speaking class, out of breath. Wonder how bored I'm going to be, or start getting nervous if I'm speaking.
9 - Communication class starts. Proceed to take "notes" (usually involving turning things in the book into QI references) or listen to speeches.
9:50 - Head to the library and wait for Jennifer to show up.
10 - Jennifer shows up. Proceed to show her our favorite clip from A Bit of Fry and Laurie as well as any new QI clips she hasn't seen. Let her show me WL clips even though I've seen them. They never get old :)
11 - Lunch time. Decide if I'm going to fight the line for some chicken/a flatbread pizza or get pasta with chicken from the store.
12 PM - Go back to Fine Arts. Kill time in the music lab. Contemplate skipping piano.
1 - Decide not to skip, go to piano class and immediately regret said decision. Spend the entire class wishing I was elsewhere.
2 - Practice my clarinet. Make several mental jokes involving my clarinet's name and what goes on when I play clarinet. Get frustrated when I cannot remember how to play the G-sharp minor thirds, the F whole tone scale, or any of the diminished seventh chord arpeggios. Work on things for jury and panic when they're not perfect.
Some time after 3 - Stop practicing. Put the clarinet away. Go to the music lab, check LJ/Facebook/e-mail/MySpace. Watch random YouTube videos or play games. Or, if it's Wednesday, stop practicing at 2:45 and go to recital or studio class.
4 - Sigh, log off, and go to wind ensemble. Spend the next hour and 15 minutes being bored and worrying about what the people on either side of me think about how I sound even though I know they don't care. Make a few more mental jokes and write random things on my music to help me remember what sort of style I need to play with.
5:30 - Go to the car.
5:35 - Head for home, music loud. End of the day at last.
6 - Get home. Have dinner. Spend the rest of the night on homework, reading, or whatever I find to entertain myself.
9:00 - Get on the computer after my shower. Sign on AIM/MSN. Check what I usually check.
11:00 - Bed.
Well, there you have it. I'm quite a busy person! I might post Tuesday and Thursday tomorrow. XD
