I had a very pleasant few days with meepettemu, and was pleasantly astonished both by the temperatures of her house which are once more fit for human habitation and the fact that I managed to sleep right through her noisy neighbours during my thirteen hour coma. True, I was so knackered from poi practice and getting four hours sleep the night before that I initially managed to fall sound asleep sitting on the sofa, and once I was in bed I don't think a marching band next to me would have disturbed me.
I did many new things- a forwards weave, and I also stroked a rat through the bars of the cage so I'm making significant progress towards overcoming my phobia.
It was good to see her and meet some of the less vile inhabitants of Nuneaton.
Came back yesterday, and indulged in much quality time of slouching around on the sofa with Jasna watching the program about the controversial/x-rated music videos and now I want the mad lesbian orgy from Rock Bitches on DVD- it looked pretty amusing.
Today, went to the park with Yugs and a hungover Englishman and cracked myself on the jaw practised poi, and then after we convened to my house to eat the pizza they brought and the remnants of my birthday cake and watch Ten Things I hate About You on DVD before introducing the hungover Englishman to the delights of the music of Ceca.
All in all, a most pleasant day.
I don't want to go to work tomorrow. I need to resign soon. I work too much.
And because this is delightful, and more hungover people need to be introduced to the Music of Ceca
